Formula SAE
Turning existing hardware into useful, editable CAD.
Harvard Undergraduate Automotive Society

Overview
I modeled existing, already-manufactured wheel-assembly and suspension components, including wishbones, in SolidWorks. This work documented real hardware and supported the team's ongoing design and manufacturing decisions.
My contributions also included revising pedal-box component CAD and researching material and part specifications. I compiled sourcing lists to support fabrication.
Scope of contribution
This was CAD and manufacturing-support work within a larger Formula SAE team. The suspension images show components I modeled from existing hardware, rather than a claim of designing the entire vehicle or suspension system.
Design with production in mind
Working from manufactured components connected CAD decisions to physical interfaces, material choices, and sourcing constraints. The goal was useful geometry and clear information for the team building the car.
