Overview
I designed and shipped a room-code platform for online and in-person social-deduction games, bringing games such as Avalon, Mafia, One Night Werewolf, and Impostor into one experience.
I owned the game concepts, feature requirements, and player flows, then used an AI-assisted workflow to build, test, debug, and refine the platform. The design goal was simple: let everyone play without making one person run the night.
A game that explains itself
A voice narrator introduces rules and calls each phase. Private role cards and in-game notes support hidden-role play, while advanced settings let groups customize each game.
Design for the whole evening
Music changes with the action. Scores carry through the night and lead to a final winner reveal, giving separate games a shared arc.
Iterate through the edge cases
I repeatedly tested and debugged game flows, synchronized state, and hidden-role information. Those iterations connected product decisions directly to how a group actually plays.
